Wednesday Wandering

Away from the Homeschool, the Rec Center hosted us for an am playdate. Warrior and Student took turns kicking goals and playing with lil friend. They were not believing Teacher that soon Mascot would be in such a walking stage! The anticipation is growing in them!

After Activity of running, soccer, rope-yanking, arguing and and snacking, we headed back to Homeschool for some anaerobic activity. Anaerobic activity in celebration of Dr. Seuss this week SHOULD have consisted of Reading, that's the logical idea anyhow. Well, no offense to the grreat writer, the kids chose to watch Grenn Eggs & Ham, instead. Not that we don't readily read his writings on a weekly basis, I think THAT'S the deal, they are too familiar. They wanted something new, and NEW meant Youtube's delivering of the Seuss video. All enjoyed and then chose to read a recent find from the local library:
Pirate Bob.

Mascot enjoyed trying to touch the scar than ran from Bob's nose-tip to his ear-top. The illustrations and truths of the immoral and uncertain lives of such living choices. As well as the untrustworthy people surrounding such a pirate, we were reminded of our choices on earth of friends and doings are of eternal importance. WOW! Warrior may not have thought he'd get a life lesson from his reading pick, but Student on the other hand, is ALWAYS on the look out for one!

So much for anaerobic activity on a sunshiny pre-spring day...off to the neighborhood park we went. Meant to read and have a Bible lesson, but time slipped away and even Veronica enjoyed our afternoon out!

Our only other activity was outdoor Art.
Student created faces as Warrior burned rubber over her designs...

Math settled our afternoon into the evening. Student expanded her coin practice to subtracting groups of them. Other than review, our day was officially over.

"Wisdom is supreme; therefore get wisdom.
Though it cost all you have, a]">[a] get understanding."
