Finally Friday

Passing days, blooming buds, the Homeschool can SMELL summer!

Daily renewing our minds until break season arrives,
Teacher finds some DAILY BREAD.

Surviving the bottom level of her purse, the words comfort,
even through stains of cracker left-overs.

Student gets her fill.

And who else is reading The Living Word, today? Our dearest sweet, Miss Amber. Finding it hard to believe that her last Senior chapel arrived today, the Homeschool went to renew their minds with she and her classmates, one last time.

Along with their parents, these seniors, soon-to-be college-students, were a bright spot to the Homeschool today.

Completing the morning, Mascot snagged Student's map and elected to aid her studies.

Principal's iPhone aided her in her studies, as well. Who can complain of help?

Getting to the fun work, seatwork ended it's day with Art, for Warrior.

Thursday Work

Up, up and away from the Homeschool campus.

Serving and using God-given skills to
further the Kingdom...(and the landscaping efforts).

Blessings to anf from our local church family. God is good.

Wednesday Friends

Getting through the daily school grind.

Finding friends with which to share the warming day...

Plastic, as well as, living friends!

Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good, His love endures forever!

The Haitus is Back Off, Again!

After a week of illness, all is back on track
at the Homeschool.

Spelling becomes a little fancier with a ring! Student is thankful to Auntie
Angie for this new treasure!

Mascot helps out with pledges, as Warrior argues which flag he can take a turn holding.

And what happens to all that seatwork Student completes?

It becomes Mascot's seatwork. He delights in schoolwork, of his own choosing, the most!

Finishing up some new rookie readers, Warrior is moving right along. Snacking and reading at the same time, even. Oh the blessings of homeschool...to eat and read on the lap of Teacher, in one's own bedroom. Thank you Lord above for these special times together.

Continues the month May

Germs are moving along,
each to his own new home
in another family member.

This too shall pass, and all that will be left
shall be warm and sunny,
for summer is soon-to-come!
Maybe Student should learn the sick-cycle as well as the water-cycle?!

As for today, bedschool remains...

Lessons of the good samaritan reminds both Student and Warrior,
that in all seasons of life, there are many to help and give love. His love. As these things mean nothing without the love of Christ, Jesus, our Savior.

Ans Mascot gets in his Thomas time. Oh the joys of trains and wee ones. Nothing makes a stuffy nose go unnoticed like Thomas the train!

Thursday Ball

Having a ball, yes, thanks to this FLIP FLOP weather!

But before galavanting around in the vitamin D, seatwork prevails.

God has blessed the homeschool with an abundance of sunshine and so the afternoon quickly turned to the local park.

Greenspace for reading poetry...

for balling...

and then returning for gardening. Mascot volunteers for naked-gardening duty.
